After many conversations with different cultural partners in the City, as well as the city administration, it became clear that there is an opportunity for a more coordinated effort on the part of arts and culture organizations in Basel Stadt to engage English-speaking audiences. The result of these conversations is a wonderful new initiative: I LOVE THE ARTS.
I LOVE THE ARTS is expanding and building upon what we started with the Basel Tastemakers. Fondation Beyeler, Kunstmuseum Basel, Sinfonieorchester Basel and Theater Basel have joined forces to invite you, Basel's English-speaking community, to their programmes. From March to June, each institution will host two happenings, one of them specifically tailored to families. Events include drinks, food and a chance to get to know fellow arts and culture lovers.

The Basel Tastemakers has paved the way for this expanded offer with the same mission - to build a bridge for you to experience and enjoy the world-class arts programming on offer in Basel Stadt.
